Polaris Launches Limited Edition Patriot Northstar Cooler in time for Summer Holidays
Jun 21, 2023
Ahead of both Canada Day (July 1) and Independence Day (July 4), Polaris Inc., the global leader in powersports, is adding to its popular Northstar Cooler lineup with the celebratory limited edition (LE) Patriot Northstar Cooler featuring American and Canadian flag colors and designs.
As part of Polaris’ long-standing dedication to supporting the brave men and women who serve our countries as well as their families and loved ones, the company is proud to support both The Gary Sinise Foundationsm and Wounded Warriors Canada as a part of the Patriot LE Northstar Cooler program. Sales of the coolers will benefit military-focused foundations.
Recognized for holding ice up to 30+ hours longer than other popular cooler brands, the Northstar Cooler is an ideal accessory for any outdoor adventure or activity including Canada Day and Independence Day celebrations on July 1 and 4 respectively. Additionally, the Coolers are rigorously tested alongside Polaris vehicles, proving its durability and compatibility for off road use whether specifically designed for a RZR, GENERAL, SPORTSMAN, RANGER, Polaris Xpedition or a more versatile option for an ATV or UTV.
“Polaris has a longstanding history and a passion for supporting the military and giving back to organizations that have a strong community impact,” said Paul Nick, vice president Off Road Part, Garments & Accessories Products and Partnerships, Polaris.” As we looked to launch the Patriot LE Northstar coolers we saw an opportunity to support two foundations that serve our nations by honoring our veterans, first responders and their families. We’re thrilled to be able to work with both The Gary Sinise Foundationsm and Wounded Warriors Canada.”
“As we come together to celebrate Independence Day in the U.S. and salute all our servicemembers and veterans who defend and protect our freedoms at home and abroad, we are incredibly grateful for Polaris’ partnership to further advance the Gary Sinise Foundation’s mission of supporting our veterans, first responders, heroes and defenders, along with their families who sacrifice so much in service to our country,” said Jim Ravella, Senior Vice President of Programs at the Gary Sinise Foundation. “As our founder Gary Sinise always says, ‘we can always do a little more,’ to honor and salute these remarkable heroes and Polaris’ mission aligns perfectly with our purpose.”
"Wounded Warriors Canada is grateful to be a charitable partner of Polaris’ Northstar cooler campaign. WWC has created an innovative approach to mental healthcare that use clinical best practices and evidence informed care to create an environment of compassion, resiliency and hope for our Veteran and First Responder communities,” said Steven Topham , National Partnerships Director, Wounded Warriors Canada. “These programs would simply not be possible without the support of organizations like Polaris, at a time when our services are needed more than ever before.”
The red, white and blue U.S. LE Patriot Northstar Cooler comes in 30qt ($279.99 USD) and 60qt ($349.99 USD) sizes while the red and white Canadian version will be sold in a 60qt size ($426.99 CAN). The coolers are also packed with innovative features like ComfortCarry Handles, NoSlip Rubber Feet, IceLock Sealing and TravelLock Tie-Downs that simplify loading and hauling whatever’s inside – the technology will protect users’ goods in extreme heat and even in a bear attack.

The Gary Sinise Foundation'ssm mission is to serve our country by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. The Foundation's four programmatic pillars are our way of "doing a little more" for those who sacrifice so much for our country. As our Founder and Chairman Gary Sinise always says, "While we can never do enough for our defenders and their loved ones, we can always do a little more." That spirit of service is the bedrock of all of the Foundation's programs, which include R.I.S.E.
